Design Intern
Job Summary
Western States Fire Protection (WSFP) and its subsidiaries are seeking an Intern to join their Design Department. The intern will work 24-40 hours per week under the supervision of the Design Manager.

Job Qualifications
- Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting, Fire Science, Project Management, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency or knowledge in autocad related programs
- Possess sound communication skills; both verbal and written
- Able to coordinate and work well with others
- Must be able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check
Job Responsibilities
- Prepping submittal packages
- Performing data entry
- Performing the duties of a Fire Protection Designer
- Assisting the Design Department with other duties and special projects as assigned
- Assisting the Design Department where needed
Qualifications
