Design Intern

About the role

As a Design Intern, you will work with our expert design team on a variety of projects related to brand identity, across print, digital, and interactive experiences. We seek creative, motivated, and highly articulate designers with skills and experience across a range of media who will bring self-initiative to projects and daily routine.

Responsibilities

• Participate in conceptualization, developing preliminary concepts into refined comprehensive design solutions
• Work on logo designs, visual systems, guidelines, and presentations both individually and as part of a team
• Support the production and coordination of design audits
• Conduct background research on identity and create mood boards for projects
• Bring brand stories to life through print, digital interaction, animation, and motion design

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent portfolio of work
• An understanding of how to apply basic design principles to creative work
• Demonstrated creative ability across a range of static, dynamic, and interactive media
• Strong technical abilities in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in motion/film editing software such as After Effects and Cinema 4D and/or interaction design software is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to set priorities and manage time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
