Design Engineer, Powersports

About the role

Responsible for developing functioning prototypes of ATV/SxS vehicles, applying new technologies to support business goals, and ensuring global vehicle quality.

Responsibilities

• Design component and system layouts using CAD, communicate specifications, and create detailed drawings for prototypes and production models.
• Optimize designs to meet cost targets and develop project schedules, coordinating resources effectively.
• Support technological advancements, analyze root causes of quality issues, and develop specifications with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; experience in Powersports or automotive preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Proficient in FTA, FMEA, tolerance analysis, CAD, and product development processes.
• Capable of planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving.

Working Conditions

Regular desk work with occasional travel, physical activity, and exposure to typical office and shop hazards. Overtime may be required, adhering to safety policies.
