Design Engineer, Powersports

Role Overview: Contribute to developing functioning prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles by researching and applying new technologies, ensuring global vehicle quality, and supporting business goals. Key Responsibilities: Design component and system layouts using CAD software to meet concept, function, and manufacturing requirements, and communicate specifications through detailed drawings. Optimize designs to meet cost targets and manage project schedules effectively, coordinating resources and providing technical input. Support the evolution of new technologies, analyze root causes of quality issues, and develop specifications with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Experience in automotive or powersports preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills. Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, tolerance analysis, CAD techniques, and product development schedules. Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional travel, physical activity limited to desk work, and exposure to typical office/shop hazards. Overtime may be required based on project needs.
