Design Engineer, Powersports

Role & Responsibilities: Contribute to developing prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles by researching and applying new technologies to meet quality and business goals. Develop component and system layouts using CAD software, ensuring specifications align with concept, function, and manufacturing requirements. Create detailed drawings, communicate specifications, and maintain accurate documentation. Optimize designs to meet cost targets and support continuous improvement initiatives. Manage project schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate progress effectively. Generate innovative ideas for technological advancement and support market quality themes through problem-solving and root cause analysis. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Experience in engineering, preferably in Powersports or Automotive. Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills. Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, tolerance analysis, CAD drawing, and CAE principles. Ability to plan, prioritize, and understand product development schedules. Working Conditions: Involves travel, primarily desk work with frequent keyboarding. Potential exposure to typical office and shop hazards. Overtime may be required based on project needs.
