Design Engineer I
About the role
Design, develop, and test product designs under guidance
Provide production support to machining and assembly operations
Analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of components
Prepare sketches, layouts, and basic calculations including angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, and clearances
Support development of product designs and engineering documentation
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of engineering and design concepts
- Familiarity with engineering design software
- Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
- Minimum Qualifications: 0 to two (2) years of relevant engineering or design experience
- Additional Details: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
