Responsibilities
- Develop products from conceptualization to launch.
- Collaborates and consults with Test, Tooling, Manufacturing and Quality Engineers in support of new product development.
- Interacts with Product Management as needed to assess new technology needs.
- Led or assists in efforts to resolve product performance issues.
- Adheres to all safety regulations.
- Demonstrates support of CPC core values.
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Basic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering or another related field.
- Curious, creative, and tenacious problem solver.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills required; must be able to communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work independently, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- CAD proficiency – PTC Creo, Solidworks, etc.
- Knowledge and grasp of rapid prototyping techniques and manufacturing methods.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated history of design innovation.
- Energetic and enthusiastic approach toward the definition of new products, complimented by an educated and realistic business outlook.
- This role may require up to 5% of travel, domestically.

Pay Range
$70,000.00 - $77,000.00 / annual
