At Jacobs, we challenge today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world’s most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery, and cutting-edge manufacturing—turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.

About the role

We are looking for a driven, well-organized Design Architecture Professional to grow with our team—someone with a firm grasp of building codes, construction detailing, and proficiency in Revit. You’ll take design concepts through construction documentation and coordinate with in-house engineering disciplines. Bring your creativity, ambitious spirit, and extreme attention to detail, and we’ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you—so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together.

Responsibilities

  • Develop construction documentation deliverables using BIM (Revit).
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including virtual engagement with geographically dispersed members.
  • Perform construction administration activities: respond to RFIs, review submittals, prepare field observation reports, and conduct punchlisting.
  • Apply technical knowledge of construction detailing, constructability, and specifications.
  • Understand and integrate structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building engineering systems in Life Sciences projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Balance multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Architecture school.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of applicable professional experience, including pharmaceutical manufacturing projects (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Revit with an advanced understanding of BIM for construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks, Revizto, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: speaking, writing, and active listening.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (minimum 2 days per week in the office).
  • United States citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with LEED and/or sustainable strategies.
  • Involvement in professional and/or community associations.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas, techniques, and standards.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company stock purchase options at a discount.
  • Deferred compensation plan and Executive Deferral Plan (for eligible employees).
  • Unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) for full-time salaried/exempt employees.
  • Seven paid holidays and caregiver leave.
  • Additional rewards for certain roles, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonuses, and stock.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $145,000.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Hybrid work policy requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
