About the role
Pierre Fabre USA is inviting dynamic and driven professionals to join our expanding team as Dermatology Sales Representatives. This role involves serving as an ambassador for our skincare brand, Avène, by detailing HCPs on the client product attributes to seek Avene recommendations for their patients. You will develop a strategic territory plan and visit 9 HCPs per day on average, aiming to achieve 75% of territory coverage of target HCPs quarterly.
Responsibilities
- Territory Management/Account Management: Detail HCPs on Avène product attributes to secure Avene recommendations for patients. Develop and manage a strategic territory plan and routing to meet and exceed reach objectives.
- Relationship-Building: Build long-term business relationships with healthcare providers and office staff within all accounts in the assigned territory, maintaining detailed records in the VEEVA CRM system.
- Product/Industry Knowledge: Continuously learn and maintain extensive knowledge of the Avène product line through continuous learning, including reading and analyzing clinical articles, promotional material, technical literature, and attending medical meetings/seminars, events, trade shows, and regional/national meetings.
- Travel and Other Requirements: Ability to travel for sales meetings (up to 2 times per year), regional customer meetings, and within the sales territory as required. Ability to work weekends, as needed, based on medical meeting participation. Must follow all legal, regulatory, and company guidelines and policies.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: A 4-year college degree preferred, 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical sales or B2B sales experience strongly preferred, previous Dermatology or skincare experience preferred. Results-focused, proven track record of achieving sales targets or product recommendations, keen analytical sense, and ability to understand financial concepts. Excellent selling and presentation skills, strong business acumen, ability to self-manage and work autonomously, strong organizational and strategic planning skills, strong technical/scientific aptitude and background, ability to swiftly adapt to a changing environment to meet unexpected demands effectively, excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills, skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
