DEPUTY SHERIFF II-CERTIFIED - STARTING PAY: $31.15- $34.38 PER HOUR DOE

Perform a wide range of patrol duties to enforce county, state, tribal, and federal laws and protect the public’s constitutional rights. Work rotating shifts, operate a patrol vehicle in a designated county area, and uphold the County’s police image with minimal supervision. May require irregular hours, job-related meetings, and other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to enforce laws and ordinances
• Protect constitutional rights of the public
• Operate a patrol vehicle responsibly
• Maintain proper personal conduct and enhance the County’s police image
• Perform duties with minimal supervision
• Work irregular hours as required
• Attend job-related meetings both in and out of town

Requirements

• Copy of police certification with original certification date
• Driving record dated within the last 30 days
• Notarized Release of Information Waiver
• Completed Veterans' Form (if applicable)
• Completed Personal Integrity Questionnaire (PIQ) submitted with application
• All required documents must be submitted within 5 days of application submission

Pay

Starting hiring range: $31.15 - $34.38 per hour (DOE)
