Deputy Program Manager - CARSI
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading large work teams
- Setting objectives and priorities
- Managing staffing requirements
- Collaborating with Program Manager to establish strong customer relationships
- Leveraging industry expertise to deliver services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement
- Preparing and updating project plans and status reports
- Providing updates on customer and corporate issues
- Participating in scheduled operational meeting routines with team leads and employees
- Aiding the Program Manager in monitoring the program to ensure it meets predetermined objectives
- Aiding the Program Manager in ensuring facilities are adequate to support mission requirements
- Overseeing refurbishment, facility operations, and maintenance
- Aiding the Program Manager in the management of the Administrative Fund and overseeing all other expenditures as required to support mission
- Collecting fiscal data to assist with the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Supervising team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Five (5) years of project/program management experience, international law enforcement, and/or criminal justice assistance
- Eight (8) years of professional experience as a manager
- Experience working with law enforcement in Central and South America
Education and/or Experience
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, five (5) years of project/program management experience, international law enforcement, and/or criminal justice assistance. Eight (8) years of professional experience as a manager. Experience working with law enforcement in Central and South America. Individual must have a demonstrated track record of accomplishment in the specific subject matter requested. Demonstrated experience in drafting and authoring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in Spanish and English
- Working knowledge of managing program resources, project planning, analysis, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
- Knowledge and experience in law enforcement environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and inter-personal skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, Access, and E-mail business software
