Deputy Director of Public Works - Engineering
Duties
Inspects the construction, alteration, or maintenance of building and structures for compliance with the provisions of the Building and Housing Codes and other pertinent codes and ordinances, and for adherence to approved plans and specifications; and performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Training and Experience: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and four years of responsible supervisory experience in all types of building construction (concrete, steel and wood) including responsibility for the inspection and supervision of workmanship and material, or two (2) years of building inspection work.
- Licenses: Possession of a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Hawaii (equivalent to Hawaii Type 3 ).
Citizenship and Residence
