Manage and oversee day-to-day Mission Aviation Services (MAS) Africa operations, including quarterly site visits to East and West Africa.
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, deployment, and ongoing qualification of MAS Africa international field staff, pilots, mechanics, and dispatchers.
Partner with the Director and Finance team to develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets while leading strategic projects, initiatives, and organizational communications.
Ensure compliance with FAA, CAA, and other applicable regulatory requirements, while maintaining MAS Africa manuals, SOPs, training documents, the Safety Management System (SMS), and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) to promote a strong safety culture.
Collaborate with MAS programs, ministry departments, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure MAS Africa has the resources and support needed to accomplish its mission.

Qualifications & Experience
- Working knowledge of FAA 14 CFR regulations and comprehensive knowledge of aviation operations, including flight operations, maintenance, safety management systems (SMS), and operational risk management.
- Experience in aviation personnel management, including staffing, training, qualification tracking, scheduling, performance management, and evaluating program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound operational decisions in time-sensitive or high-pressure environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion and adapt proactively to changing operational needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), PeopleSoft, web browsers, and video conferencing tools.
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.
