Deputy Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for client relationship management.
• Support growth strategy for Florida Water.
• Execute quality materials and oversee preparation and review of all associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Collaborating and managing design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
• Confirm code research, write specifications, and obtain applicable permits.
• Cooordinat projects assignments with project managers, engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Support project budget and schedule goals.
• Business development and mentorship of teammates.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience required.
• Professional Engineering license in Florida is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office is required.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well suited to executing work in a team environment.

Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff about projects and Dewberry market segments.
