Essential Functions
- Imports and processes citations.
- Prepares and processes bench warrants and license suspensions.
- Responds to e-mails; answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance; takes messages; refers to appropriate personnel.
- Schedules, prepares, and conducts inmate virtual 1st appearances.
- Prepares courtroom for court and breakdown.
- Prepares court calendar for court proceedings.
- Updates website to include bond schedules and court information.
- Enters purchase order requisitions.
- Maintains office supply inventory.
- Receives and processes mail.
- Performs related duties.

- GCIC and NCIC rules and regulations.
- Court standard operating procedures.
- The Georgia Municipal Clerks' reference manual.
Complexity/Scope of Work
- The work consists of related clerical and customer service duties.
- Frequent interruptions contribute to the complexity of the position.
- The purpose of this position is to provide support for the day-to-day operations of the court office.
- Contacts are typically with co-workers, other city employees, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, judges, and members of the general public.
- The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping.
- The work is typically performed in an office.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
- Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
- Must become Security and Awareness and Operations GCIC certified within one month of employment.
