Responsibilities
- Oversight of the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) Program
- Oversight of the USA medical student program
- Serving as the backup coordinator for the Residency Program
- Supporting Joint Commission, NCQA, and HRSA Operational Site Visit (OSV) activities
- Leading strategic initiatives related to Value-Based Care (VBC)
- Overseeing Behavioral Health, HIV, and Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) program expansion
- Aiding with workforce development and retention strategies
- Monitoring operational costs
- Improving patient access and profitability
- Supporting grant development
- Collaborating with executive leadership to strengthen Franklin’s culture and operational performance
- Direct leadership to multiple department directors and organizational leaders
Requirements
- Either a Master’s degree in Health Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Health, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience
- Or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience
- Strong executive leadership, strategic planning, financial and operational management, supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead organizational change within a healthcare environment
