Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) Program
  • Oversight of the USA medical student program
  • Serving as the backup coordinator for the Residency Program
  • Supporting Joint Commission, NCQA, and HRSA Operational Site Visit (OSV) activities
  • Leading strategic initiatives related to Value-Based Care (VBC)
  • Overseeing Behavioral Health, HIV, and Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) program expansion
  • Aiding with workforce development and retention strategies
  • Monitoring operational costs
  • Improving patient access and profitability
  • Supporting grant development
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to strengthen Franklin’s culture and operational performance
  • Direct leadership to multiple department directors and organizational leaders

Requirements

  • Either a Master’s degree in Health Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Health, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience
  • Or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience
  • Strong executive leadership, strategic planning, financial and operational management, supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead organizational change within a healthcare environment
