Deposit Servicer
Responsible for the accurate, timely, and confidential completion of all deposit services duties including IRA documents, deposit maintenance, and research for members, staff, and external sources. Provides quality service to members and staff by offering information, assistance, and answering questions.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
- Demonstrate a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times, including appropriate phone etiquette and the MUST philosophy (making eye contact, using names, smiling, and thanking members).
- Ensure confidentiality of member information and support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Participate in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events annually.
- Assist CADS staff in supporting all deposit operations, including questions, problem resolution, research, and IRAs.
- Answer phone calls to assist staff and members with account transactions, deposit accounts (CD, IRA, money market, etc.), ODP, non-member accounts, deceased accounts, and more.
- Monitor and respond timely to IRA CADS email, LiveChat group, and member requests via mail and front line.
- Resolve member account discrepancies, statement problems, and complaints.
- Maintain non-member accounts and save relevant paperwork to the document storage system.
- Complete verification requests on all non-member accounts.
- Assist the CADS team by sending necessary deposit documents and letters through DocuSign and mail.
- Process IRA documents, complete auto-RMD and RMD waiver requests, and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate before scanning.
- Maintain familiarity with the Credit Union image retrieval system, check imaging system, and all archival systems.
- Perform file maintenance and adjustments on member accounts (e.g., closing dormant accounts, assessing fees, correcting dividends, address updates) and provide proper member notification/correspondence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and reduce human error.
- Develop materials and lead Wednesday departmental training and weekly staff meetings.
- Perform any and all job duties within the Card and Deposit Services team as necessary or assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- Minimum of nine months or more prior financial institution (FI) experience; knowledge of GreenState processes preferred.
- Achieved a ranking of Successful or higher on the most recent mid-year or annual review.
- Good oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, telephone and email etiquette.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, understand written material, and perform basic math calculations.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to learn relevant applications, spreadsheets, word processors, and databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize large volumes of work.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, as dictated by workload.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, exercise sound judgment, and develop effective working relationships with co-workers.
- Positive attitude, team-first focus, and emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.
- Must be punctual, work all scheduled hours, and work overtime as necessitated by business demand.
- Must be bondable.
Pay
Pay range for this hourly position is $26.02 - $30.42 per hour with a progressive benefits package.
