Responsibilities
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Develop process flows, procedures, test scripts, and operational documentation.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and identify efficiencies.
- Perform post-implementation validation to ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver expected benefits.
- Support management and ensure adherence to risk and compliance standards.
- Provide daily support across Deposit Operations, including account maintenance and exception processing.
- Assist with ACH processing (origination, monitoring, exceptions) and ensure NACHA compliance.
- Support Wire processing (domestic and international) with appropriate controls.
- Provide support for Electronic Banking services (online banking, mobile banking, remote deposit capture).
- Assist with Cash Management onboarding, servicing, and annual product reviews.
- Perform CD and IRA servicing, including contributions, distributions, transfers, and renewals in compliance with regulations.
- Responsible for monthly metric reports & monitoring.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
- Create, update, and maintain procedures, training materials, and communications.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies as they relate to the Deposit Operations tasks and functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of banking operations experience in Deposit Operations or related areas.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Business Analyst certification or relevant analytical/project experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ACH, Wires, Electronic Banking, Cash Management, and CD/IRA processing.
- Understanding of IRA regulations and NACHA rules.
- Experience with core banking systems (Jack Henry preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
