Deposit Operations Control Analyst - Ford Credit Bank
What You'll Do
- Develop, write, and standardize procedural documentation for Deposit Operations.
- Create and edit process flow diagrams and other visual aids to enhance the clarity of technical documentation.
- Track and update procedures based on audit findings, regulatory changes, and internal policy updates.
- Aid in implementing approved procedures across the department.
- Develop and lead the execution of First Line Testing to ensure frontline staff are processing in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Update the First Line Testing scope, objectives, and rationale as needed.
- Analyze testing exceptions and provide actionable recommendations to enhance internal controls or increase operational efficiency.
- Compile and generate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and reconcile data discrepancies.
You'll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (e.g., Technical Writing, Communications).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, or Banking Operations.
- Strong knowledge of general banking operations, specifically deposit operations, treasury management, and payment rails.
- Proven experience in documenting process maps and identifying risks/controls within financial services.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data analysis) and Word (technical writing).
Even Better
- Experience in a de novo, fintech, or high-velocity online banking environment.
- Technical background with experience in SQL, Python, or Excel VBA to automate complex datasets.
- Experience with process mapping software.
- Superior organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple writing and testing projects concurrently.

Benefits
This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $74,300-$124,500. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
