Departmental Analyst 9 - P11 / ITB / OHSP / Impaired Driving Unit

Job Description

Serves as an analyst with responsibility for activities related to the statewide impaired driving program portions of the Annual Grant Application. Plan, implement and develop grants with state and local agencies, oversee and evaluate grant programs. This position assists managerial/program staff, industry, community groups and governmental agencies in identifying and developing programs statewide and regionally to address the problem of impaired driving in the state of Michigan. This position participates in the Office of Highway Safety Planning meetings at local, regional, state and national levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any major
• One year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 9
• Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service for Departmental Analyst P11

Qualifications

Departmental Analyst 9 - 12 Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

Skills

Passing a pre-employment screening, including passing a drug screen, criminal history background check, and a fingerprint check by the Michigan State Police.

Required Education And Experience

• Education: Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
• Experience: Departmental Analyst 9 - No specific type or amount is required.
• Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience.
• Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
• Alternate Education And Experience: Departmental Analyst 9 - 12 Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
