About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will support the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the best customer experience in the department and overall store. You will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Customer Sales & Profit
- Support the total OMNI customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to global guidelines.
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
- Identify your department's strengths and commercial opportunities, working with your Department Manager to act on them.
- Ensure customer service is provided in all areas of the store and that your team actively promotes and sells products.
- Follow up on team promotion of the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure correct routines in fitting rooms and checkout, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle all admin routines for both people and operations correctly.
- Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Keep up-to-date with the fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
- Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
- Team & Development
- Retain and share your knowledge and skills with the store team.
- Collaborate, plan, and work with the in-store Visual Merchandiser team.
- Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.
- Communicate regularly with store colleagues to inform, motivate, and inspire through daily and weekly meetings.
- Ensure all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed.
- Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
- Secure a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, including stockroom areas.
- Ensure high fashion quality, visual, and commercial product presentation with good garment care.
- Maintain good stock levels and provide input on allocation to the Area team.
- Ensure the full garment cycle—from delivery to garment presentation—and fitting room routines meet internal standards and routines.
- Maintain and follow best practices for in-store OMNI Services and tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
- Secure a strong balance and maintenance of price signs in-store following global and local strategies.
- Update and maintain back-of-house areas for all colleagues (key information, health & safety, tidiness, etc.).
- Responsible for the daily opening and closing of the store.

Pay
Expected base salary range is $19.22 - $22.39 hourly.
