About the role

The Electrical Department Supervisor plays an important role in shaping a positive, high-performing team culture within the base office. In this position, you'll lead with purpose through coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members so they feel supported and equipped to do their best work. You will help guide your team through project responsibilities and workload planning, thoughtfully aligning talent with project needs to ensure smooth delivery and strong outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop your team through supporting career development and fostering professional growth
  • Collaborate closely with the Department Manager and fellow Supervisors to build a leadership group that continuously improves processes and elevates team performance
  • Represent the department in business development efforts and help nurture strong client relationships
  • Contribute actively to the Leadership Team, helping shape strategies that strengthen operations, elevate performance, and support long-term firm success
  • Partner with the Manager and fellow Supervisors to establish appropriate staffing levels, assign work

Requirements

A minimum of 11 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a supervisory role. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop team members, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, knowledge of industry standards and regulations, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
