This role will mainly support the lab, imaging, surgery, and the Emergency Department. You will supervise the department’s technical and administrative functions as well as implement goals and collaborate with other caregivers to achieve them. It will be your goal to ensure the team has the support they need to meet the OKRs for patient registration, safety, and experience along with compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the technical and administrative functions.
- Act as a technical resource for team members.
- Collaborate to achieve organizational goals.
- Implement goals consistent with assigned clinical and nonclinical units.
- Supervise caregivers in daily operations.
- Maintain staffing levels and ensure cross coverage.
- Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
- Provide leadership and training.
- Coordinate and provide orientation, education, and training.
- Develop an effective work team.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve procedures and processes.
- Communicate with caregivers and provide orientation on policies.
- Analyze workflow and procedures.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality, and effectiveness.
- Lead and implement large process improvement projects.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- Additional years of experience may substitute the education requirement.
- A High School diploma/GED and five years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements.
- A Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience may substitute the work experience requirement.
- Knowledge of supervision, training, development, and public relations practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Extensive Customer Service experience.
- Healthcare experience in a large organization.
Physical Requirements
- Requires frequent data entry, standing, and walking.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires dexterity sufficient to operate a computer.
- May require the ability to operate various types of powered material handling equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Schedule
This is a full-time role. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Availability to virtually support teams on Saturdays will be required, as needed.
Pay
Pay Range Minimum Annual Salary: $47,530.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $72,475.00
