About the role
The Supervisor II - Forensic Services reports to the Chief of Forensic Services or the Medical Director in Forensic Services at the Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero (ASH).
Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise, and provide direction to the Forensic Services Department.
- Assess, develop, and implement training needs for current and future staff assignments.
- Independently coordinate hospital census with all State Hospitals to reduce the statewide Incompetent to Stand Trial (PC1370) wait list.
- Develop and enhance tools to increase staff skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Eligibility for appointment via certification list, transfer eligibility, or reinstatement eligibility.
- Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications specified in the examination bulletin/classification specifications.
- If not currently eligible, applicants must take the Supervisor II Examination (a separate process from applying for this vacancy).
Pay
$7,872.00 - $9,781.00 per month. New state employees are hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
