About the role
The job involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring high-quality customer service, sales promotion effectiveness, staff training, and efficient operation of the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas.
- Lead the Kitchen Department, overseeing food quality, safety, cost control, and staff training in production procedures.
- Lead the People Department, managing recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance of staff to meet sales and profit goals.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions.
