About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant. Shift leaders ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Department managers oversee specific systems like training, food safety, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
- Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, and Service
- Ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant
- Provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
