About the role
This job posting is for a Department Manager position at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. Applicants should be 18 years or older and possess previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
Lead the Kitchen Department, ensuring the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items.
Lead the People Department, ensuring the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, and supports their development and motivation.
Requirements
Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
Positive team player with flexible schedules and the passion to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
