The Department Manager role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).
About the role
This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer with 300+ stores and over 22,000 team members. Our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature.
Responsibilities
- Support store operations and customer service
- Manage inventory levels and ensure smooth product flow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency
- Train and mentor team members to enhance performance and engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of retail operations and supply chain management
