The Department Manager position supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).
About the role
This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer. The mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. Savers supplies its stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. These items are purchased directly from nonprofit partners, diverting billions of pounds of used items from landfills and onto store racks and shelves for reuse.
Responsibilities
- Support the service side of Saver's stores or the backroom product flow function (production)
- Invest in the career path interests of team members through onboarding and training
- Develop and deliver robust training to team members across the organization
Qualifications
- Experience in retail operations or a related field
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Passion for sustainability and community impact
