The Department Manager role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).
About the role
This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer. The company champions reuse and inspires a future where secondhand is second nature. Savers supplies its stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and on to store racks and shelves for reuse.
Responsibilities
- Support the service side of stores or the backroom product flow function (production)
- Manage department operations
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve department goals
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience in retail or related field
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are typically Monday through Saturday, with some flexibility based on department needs.
