The Department Manager role supports either the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production).
About the role
This multi-faceted role is part of Savers, an international thrift retailer. The mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. Savers supplies its stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. These items are purchased directly from nonprofit partners, diverting billions of pounds of used items from landfills and onto store racks and shelves for reuse.
Responsibilities
- Support the service side of our stores or the backroom product flow function (production)
- Invest in the career path interests of team members
- Develop and deliver robust training to team members
- Participate in internal training initiatives and partner with external providers
Requirements
- Management experience required
- Comprehensive onboarding and training from day one
