Department Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Lead the Guest Service Department Manager to ensure great customer experiences, sales promotions, and service staff training.
• Lead the Kitchen Department Manager to ensure high-quality food delivery, food safety, and cost control.
• Lead the People Department Manager to hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Qualifications

Competitive pay ranging from $17.50 to $19.00 based on availability and experience. Additional benefits include:
