About the role
The job is for a manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee (Cayce Restaurant Group), not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
- Manage assigned systems like training, food safety, inventory management, setting goals, delegating tasks to teams, following up, and reporting results.
- Ensure the guest service department delivers a great customer experience, executes well on sales promotions, trains service staff in procedures, and organizes the front counter McCafé and drive-thru areas for optimal service.
- Ensure the kitchen department delivers high-quality food and service, controls food costs, trains kitchen staff in production procedures, and manages new menu items.
- Ensure the people department hires qualified staff, trains them well, schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, and supports their success.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
