About the role
This job posting is for a management position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Lead Departments, which may include managing Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, and reporting results.
- Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Manage Quality of food delivery, safety, cost control, and training of kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
- Hire, train, and schedule crew to meet sales and profit goals, and ensure they are supported and motivated throughout their tenure.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant.
