Requirements
- Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Some managers also lead Departments, which may include managing Systems like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, and reporting results.
- The Hospitality Department Leader ensures Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- The Quality Department Leader ensures the restaurant provides high-quality food, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
- The People Department Leader ensures the restaurant hires qualified staff, trains them effectively, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals. They also ensure new employees get a good start and are recognized and motivated.
Qualifications
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply for management positions in corporate-owned restaurants.
