About the Role

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments. These managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
• Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
• People Department Manager: Hire qualified crew, train them well, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and support their development and motivation.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and the passion to work in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
