Department Manager
Requirements
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They may also lead Departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, and People, overseeing various aspects of the restaurant.
- Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize service areas.
- Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure the restaurant delivers high-quality food and fast service, maintain food safety, control food costs, and train kitchen staff on production procedures.
- People Department Manager: Hire and train qualified crew, ensure they are motivated, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred. Positive team players with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment are ideal.
Must be 18 years or older to work as a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants.
Skills
Effective communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
