About the role

The job involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant. The primary focus is on ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Managers are responsible for various aspects such as training, food safety, inventory management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.
• Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to the team and other managers.
• Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
• Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast, with food always safe and food cost controlled.
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items added to the menu.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
• Support new employees and motivate them throughout their time working at the restaurant.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant.
