The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Department Manager, responsibilities include ensuring a great customer experience, managing sales promotions, training staff, and organizing service areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results
• Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience
• Make sure sales promotions are done well
• Train service staff in service procedures
• Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service
• Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service
• Control food costs and train kitchen staff in production procedures
• Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew to meet sales and profit goals
• Support Crew in getting off to a good start and motivate them throughout their time working there

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate owned McDonald's restaurant
