Department Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience at each visit. Department Managers provide leadership to the crew and other managers to maintain high levels of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness for guests.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift, ensuring the team is prepared to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain performance during the shift, addressing any issues to ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability across the department.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness to support operational efficiency.
• Ensure quality food production and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee safety and security protocols to protect both guests and staff.
• Schedule and manage the team to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Train new and existing staff on best practices and company policies.

Requirements

A minimum of one year of leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting, is preferred. Positive team player attitude and a flexible schedule are also required. Passion for working in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience is preferred, but candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
