About the role

The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a manager, responsibilities include ensuring a fast, accurate, friendly customer experience, managing sales promotions, training staff, organizing service areas, hiring qualified crew, and scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Ensure the Guest Service Department delivers a great customer experience, manages sales promotions, trains service staff, and organizes service areas.
• Ensure the Kitchen Department delivers high-quality food and fast service, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
• Ensure the People Department hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
• Support new employees and motivate them throughout their time working at the restaurant.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald's restaurant.
