Department Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
- Lead the Guest Service Department, overseeing sales promotions, service staff training, and area organization.
- Manage the Kitchen Department, ensuring high-quality food delivery, food safety, and staff training.
- Oversee the People Department, recruiting, training, and scheduling staff to meet sales and profit goals.
- Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
