About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. This includes managing systems like training, food safety, and inventory management, setting goals, delegating tasks, and reporting results.
Responsibilities
- Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
- Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, and Service
- Ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant
- Provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with flexible schedules who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role
Qualifications
Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace, strong customer service and support focus, and the ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs.
Skills
Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and proficiency in managing restaurant operations.
