The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Department Manager, responsibilities include ensuring high-quality customer service, managing inventory, training staff, and meeting sales and profit goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly service
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results
- Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service
- Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food and controls food costs
- Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
- Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals
- Support new employees and motivate current staff
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Age 18 or older to be eligible to work as a manager
Qualifications
