Department Manager

Requirements

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks to teams, follow up, and report results.
• Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
• Make sure sales promotions are done well.
• Train service staff in service procedures.
• Organize the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service.
• Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast.
• Make sure food is always safe and food cost is controlled.
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items on the menu.
• Hire qualified crew, train them well, and schedule them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
• Ensure Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant and are recognized and motivated throughout their time working there.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules who enjoys working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
