About the role

The job involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience. The role includes managing various departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, and People.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to the team and other managers.
• Lead the Guest Service Department, ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
• Oversee sales promotions and ensure all service staff are trained in service procedures.
• Manage the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas to ensure optimal service.
• Lead the Kitchen Department, ensuring the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service.
• Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
• Lead the People Department, ensuring the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals.
• Support Crew members to help them get off to a good start and motivate them throughout their time working there.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant.
