About the Role

This job posting is for a management position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, manage sales promotions, train service staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas.
• Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service, maintain food safety, control food costs, and train kitchen staff in production procedures.
• People Department Manager: Hire qualified crew, train them well, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and support their development and motivation.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant.
