Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management systems
• Set goals and delegate tasks to teams
• Follow up and report results
• Ensure the restaurant delivers high quality food to customers quickly
• Ensure food is always safe
• Control food costs
• Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
• Hire qualified crew members
• Train crew members well
• Schedule crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
• Engage employees through motivation and recognition
• Ensure memorable customer experiences
• Do well with sales promotions
• Train service staff in service procedures
• Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service

Qualifications

Highly motivated individuals with strong leadership skills are needed. Must have a passion for serving others and a commitment to excellence.

Skills

Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and a positive attitude are essential.
