Department Manager

About the role

The job involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Train and motivate staff to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of service.
• Oversee kitchen operations to ensure quality food and efficient service.
• Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet restaurant goals.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.
