About the role
The role involves leading shifts and departments in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a manager, you will ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience, manage staff, and adhere to departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results
- Ensure the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service
- Make sure the restaurant delivers great quality food and fast service
- Ensure food safety and control food costs
- Train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items
- Hire, train, and schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals
- Support new employees and motivate current staff
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Age 18 or older to qualify as a manager in corporate-owned McDonald's restaurants
